Fridays are for friends at FTR. This is just one of those Friday nights with my friends. It was also Jay's first time at the Foggy Turd he was pretty stoked about it and did a little write up on his blog 5&A DIME

This is my second attempt at iMovie, I'm getting a little better. Soon I hope to have all of the tricks down, I figure I'll keep making crappy edits till I get one right and whore that one out for the rest of my life haha. I look at this (my edits) and see so much stuff that I'm bummed on. I changed the song 3 times and had to reedit for each song, sometimes you just need to let it go and move on to the next one. Hope you liked it

We Have A Winner

A while back I held a contest for a new logo for FTR and the Krusher Kompound blog. Ed from the cold east came in first with his classic bite.

Here at the Kompound we don't fuck around except when apropos. Stickers, koozise, music and DVD's were sent in abundance

Good job Ed! Here's to a long career in doing what you love to do

SKATER BOWL SUNDAY 2011

On Sunday, February 6^th we’ll be having our annual Skater Bowl Sunday. It is a rare occasion to have FTR open all day Sunday, there will be beer, chips and an old TV crammed into a small kitchen. The ramp will be open for any Slappy Sunday’s pre and post partying or you can stay and watch me yell at a football game. So if you like ramps and commercials the Kompound has got you covered. See you this Sunday at FTR

Susej Wins Again

I while back I decided to do contest for FTR and Naysayer Skateboards. The first person to point out the 4 Naysayer Skateboards BGP's in this pic wins a sticker pack, DVD's, and limited edition FTR and Typical Culture koozies.

Well Peter in the Land of the Rising Sun was the first to point them out so I sent a bunch of swag to Japan

He was stoked when they arrived and sent this confirming picture

Went to see my favorite band tonight, I'm pretty sure it was their first live performance. Adrian Demain is rad and he plays @ Bar Pink Tuesday nights.Tonight he was backed up by three friends and two of them are some of my favorite people.

Blender was wearing a Shed shirt... I was stoked

Pineapple told me something 10 years ago that might go on my tombstone when I die. I had no idea what a good drummer he is. My favorite thing about Blender's play was that you could tell he was a good talent on a guitar and that the bass wasn't the only instrument he plays, yet he was doing it all on a brand new Squire
